Eric Hummel understands that the justice system works when it is open, efficient, and responsive to the people.  Justice delayed is justice denied.  Eric Hummel will strive to be open and fair.  To accomplish these goals, Eric Hummel will:

  • Attempt to expand court hours, including night court.
  • Encourage an open door policy to hear matters during all working hours.
  • Work with staff, attorneys, and victim’s rights advocates to provide consistent and timely decisions based on his experience and training of Montana law.
  • Improve collection of fines and restitution payments for crime victims.
